fooey on gmail

Gmail has this thingy over your emails which offers random clips from whatever you select. It has some default clips, and then anything that you can get from an RSS feed you can stick in there, and they'll show up.

Except it's not working these days.

Does this mean I'll have to write my own script to go through a bunch of feeds and stick up random tidbits I find on the internet?
