The Bog Sea Scrolls

On Wikipedia today, I learned that an early medieval prayer book is discovered in a bog in Ireland. I find it ironic that the find occured on what would be Internation Bog Day, as there there is no Bog Day in 2006, which typically occurs on the last Sunday in July.

Although, if I dig out the references that Wikipedia cites, it seems that the scrolls were not in fact discovered today but sometime during the last week. Ah well.

Gmail has this thingy over your emails which offers random clips from whatever you select. It has some default clips, and then anything that you can get from an RSS feed you can stick in there, and they'll show up.

Except it's not working these days.

Search Results for 'http://xkcd.com/rss.xml'
No feed was found at the URL you provided.

And all my old ones aren't working either:

Does this mean I'll have to write my own script to go through a bunch of feeds and stick up random tidbits I find on the internet?
